Linda P. Sillars, AMHNP-BC was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding

SYRACUSE, JANUARY 12, 2017, Linda P. Sillars, AMHNP-BC, Support and Recovery at Catholic Charities, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.

Ms. Sillars, an expert in psychotherapy management and psychiatric medical management. She presently worked in support and recovery on the ACT Team of Catholic Charities. She previously worked at DeWitt Counseling Associates, where she was responsible for working with veterans and young adults who suffer from PTSD and trauma. Ms. Sillars is often in charge of overseeing day-to-day responsibilities, working in a mental health private practice, and consulting with nursing homes.

Ms. Sillars helped to establish protocol for sexual abuse. In addition, she is an established artist and has artwork hanging in a child advocacy center. She attributes her success to her years of experience. She earned a Master’s Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and she is also a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding and also maintains affiliation with Sigma Beta Phi and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys creating art, painting, reading, playing tennis, sailing, attending the theater, and watching films and sports in her spare time.

In the years to come, Ms. Sillars plans to continue practicing psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
